From table to your printer, no middleman
A guest taps 'I'd like to order' in the game. A receipt with the table number on it comes out of the printer behind the bar, and staff walk over. That's all it is, and that's the point: the conversation at the table stays with your people.
Not a digital ordering system and no till connection. The button brings someone to the table.
Windows software
TablePlay Bridge runs on a PC or till system you already have. Install, pair with a code, done.
Local and network printers
A printer via USB or via the network on a fixed IP address. Both work fine, and you can connect several.
Configurable per receipt
You choose which printer gets which notification. The kitchen doesn't need to see an order for the bar.
A sample receipt
Before a guest is at a table, you print a test receipt. That way you know it works, rather than hoping it does.
What's on the receipt
The receipt states the table and the time. That's all staff need to know where to go, and that's all you'd want on there anyway.

Why it's deliberately not an ordering system
TablePlay doesn't send products through to a till and doesn't track stock. That's a choice, not a missing feature. A guest who submits a full menu from their phone no longer talks to your staff - and that conversation is exactly what a venue relies on.
That's why the button says 'I'd like to order' rather than 'place order'. It brings someone to the table; whatever gets ordered then happens the way it always did.
If the printer doesn't respond
If the connection drops, the button disappears for the guest. Better no button than a button that does nothing while a guest waits for someone who'll never come.

Do I need a till system?
