Rocket Duel

ActionChildren

Game rules

Two tanks, three lives each. Whoever hits the other three times wins.

How to play

  1. Aim. Tap in the field; the barrel turns towards that point.
  2. Build up power. Hold your finger on the screen - the bar under your tank fills up.
  3. Fire. Let go. The fuller the bar, the further the rocket travels.
  4. Adjusting is fine. As long as you're holding, you can still move the barrel.
  5. No need to wait. There are no turns; you both fire whenever you want.
  6. Reload. After a shot, your tank is busy for three-quarters of a second; the bar turns grey during that time.

Good to know

  • The three hearts under your tank are your lives. The bar beneath them is the power of the shot you're currently building up.
  • The wind pushes the rocket sideways. It's shown below the score and changes every so often.
  • Every impact leaves a crater. A hill you couldn't clear before might be gone after three shots.
  • If you hit yourself, it costs you a life and your opponent gets the point.
  • With two of you on one phone, each has their own half of the screen: left controls the red tank, right controls the blue one.
  • Playing across a table, each plays on their own device. Only gameplay information is then sent across the connection - no names, and nothing is stored.
  • This game is played in landscape mode. If you hold the phone upright, the screen will ask you to rotate it.
  • There are no ads.
