Rules – Draughts

Objective: Capture all of your opponent's pieces or make sure they can no longer make a valid move.

How to play

1. Players take turns moving one piece diagonally forward to a free dark square.
2. If you can jump over an adjacent opponent's piece to an empty square, you capture that piece. When a further capture is possible, you continue your turn.
3. When a regular piece reaches the far side, it becomes a king and may move forwards and backwards according to the game variant.
4. First select the piece, then the highlighted target square.

End of the game: You win when the opponent has no pieces left or can no longer make a valid move.
